Explorers Program
Elementary Programs
The program for elementary students will take place over four weeks total.
- Week 1: July 10–14 - Mission to Mars
- Week 2: July 17–21 - Glorious Games
- Week 3: July 24–28 - Nature CSI
- Week 4: July 31–August 4 - Fun at the Fair (younger group) and Solar Project (upper group)
Capacity for Grades 1–3: 20 students per week.
Capacity for Grades 4–6: 20 students per week.
Certified teachers and paraprofessionals will lead each elementary school group.
Please Note: A $25 deposit per student/per session is required to reserve space in the program. Payment will be requested once your child’s spot has been confirmed by the summer program coordinator. Program participants will receive a t-shirt or water bottle.
Enrollment is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be notified of your child's status within ten business days of completing this form.
Program fees are based on a sliding scale: no cost for students who receive free lunch, $100 for students who receive reduced lunch, and $200 for all others. For those experiencing financial hardship, scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of the Mary Lyon Foundation. Please note: for those students who have been recommended by their school principals, the program fee is waived regardless of financial need.
General Information
All programs will take place at BSE from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. We will provide transportation on a limited need-based basis and is pending until after enrollment to determine needs.
Free breakfast is served from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., and free lunch will be served during camp everyday.
We reserve a limited number of slots for students as identified by the school administration and fill the remaining slots on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will be 20 spots per group each week for the elementary school program. We will enroll 12 students each week on a first-come, first-served basis and will generate a waitlist for any additional openings. Families can enroll in more than one week.
